About Us
Our Story
Vincent’s Italian Restaurant is a Mount Dora icon that was founded in 1998 by Vincent and Josephine Folgore. The Folgore’s migrated from Naples, Italy to the United states in 1971 and have brought with them their love of food and family that has been instilled in them for many generations and shared it with the residents of beautiful Lake County. The Folgore's have been married for over 50 years and remain here with their children and their families. Vince and Josephine have now both retired and passed on the torch to Vinny Essa, another first generation immigrant with 25+ years of Italian restaurant experience. Vinny is determined to protect this landmark and continue to build on its success and reputation.
